Studded punk rock beanies - If beanies were popular in the late seventies (the punk rock years), they might have been covered in studs. If they're not on shoes, they're on jackets, handbags, cellular phone cases and even hats. I must say they look pretty cool on hats, especially beanies.

Beanies with something to say - First there were shirts with a message, then ball caps (the odd time) and now it's beanies.
